Adoption Announcement – 12/31/2016
It was a long journey for Abbey and Rosie,
but now the girls are enjoying their new home together! Abbey and Rosie arrived at their forever home on December 26th, and didn’t waste any time exploring their exciting new world! Abbey enjoys watching the birds outside in the bird feeders, searching for an unattended dinner plate, and chasing Pepper (the 100lb. dog) off his bed so she can lay down on it, assuming her new dad’s lap isn’t available! Rosie loves to be brushed, playing hide and seek in the master closet, and snuggling up with mom and dad at night, sometimes under the covers! Rosie even lays down with Pepper. Abbey and Rosie are a perfect fit for their new family, and they are all very happy.
We at Safe Place couldn’t be happier for Abbey and Rosie and their new family. Thanks to all that made this possible.
Adoption Bio – 12/5/2015
My name is Abbey and I am eager to meet you to let you know what a great cat I am! I am a 15-years young, spayed, indoor-only orange tabby, who enjoys petting, brushing, attention, and sitting in a window. I am very outgoing and loving. One of my favorite things to do is sit in your lap. If I can’t get in your lap, then I will plop myself down in front of you to let you know that you can pet me and talk with me. I can live with other cats and small dogs. Please do come visit me at the Safe Place for Pets Welcome Center in Manitou, so you can see firsthand what a wonderful companion I will be! I am ready for my new home.
