Intake Date: 5/3/2015

Update – 7/23/2016

At 10:30 this morning, Goose crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Goose was our Grande Dame of the Cattery, a crabby, cantankerous, sweet, wonderful old girl who would greet you when you came in the door and follow you around. Goose seemed to sabotage her Meet and Greets with any potential new family, and decided she would bide her time with the volunteers at the Safe Place for Pets cattery until it was time to cross and join up with her surrenderer, who crossed her own bridge last year.

We will miss our Goosey Girl. Her memorial pawprint resides on the wall of the cattery.

Adoption Bio – 5/3/2015

Goose is a healthy, beautiful 14 lb. spayed female DSH sweetheart with a gorgeous gray and tan coat. In her youth, Goose wrangled lizards and mice. But now in her retirement, she prefers a much more laid back and relaxed lifestyle. Goose can be quite affectionate, likes to be brushed, and will talk to you when she wants more food, or attention. She has a great purr, and a squeak of a meow. She has lived with a dog. With a clean bill of health from the vet, Goose has plenty of life left in her. She’ll follow you around like a dog. So if you want a quiet shadow, Goose is your gal. Stop by the Welcome Center today to meet this beautiful girl!
