Meet Bow
Hi everyone, my name is Bow. It's spelled 'bow' because I was a Christmas present to my mom and she said I should have been wrapped in a bow. I've been with my mom since I was only 4 weeks old. She nursed me through those first few weeks until I was able to take care of myself and we've been together along with my sister Gracie, ever since. Gracie is a dog and we got along fine, although we did like to tease each other. It was all in fun.
I'm a very handsome black and white, tuxedo cat. I have striking gold eyes. I'm a fairly big guy, weighing in at 14 lbs. I am declawed. I am a pretty mellow, loving cat but since I have never left my mom's house I am very frightened and confused about what's happining now. I'm acting out by hissing alot but I'm just scared not mad.
I've not been around kids but I think I would be OK with older, calm children. Same with dogs. My first experience with other cats was when I came to Safe Place, and I have been doing very well!
I'll be waiting here at Safe Place for you to come meet me. You can stop by during our visiting hours or make an appointment by calling (719) 359-0201. For questions about me, you can also email info@safeplacepets.org and someone should get back to you quickly.
