Cece
Would you like a cat companion who talks to you? Greets you at the door when you come home? Snuggles in your lap or on your chest to hear your heartbeat? Curls up next to your shoulder during the night (and occasionally wakes you up with purring?) Meows with impatience for morning treats or evening canned cat food to be served? Wants to be wherever you are, at least most of the time?
If these qualities are what you would enjoy, I am the cat for you! My name is Cece, a 4-year-old (as of 11/2019) domestic shorthair calico with a giant-sized personality. I like to be large-and-in-charge, so I can get a bit uppity at times. I do well with dogs, but do best with assertive dogs who keep my “cattitude” in check. I have absolutely no use for other cats, so no cats allowed, please!
I am coming back to the Safe Place for Pets program because I have become a bully with my dog brother, who is very timid and has not figured out how to stand up for himself. When my dog sister was alive, she was the boss and helped me mind my manners. My mom has decided that a new home where I can be the only pet or live with an alpha dog will be a better fit for me.
If you would like to meet me and try a pre-adoption with me, contact Safe Place for Pets at 719-359-0201 or www.safeplacepets.org. I hope to see you soon!
