Ms. Gracie
Hi friends! My name is Gracie and I am a 5 year old Terrier mix. Safe Place for Pets thinks that I might have a little Chihuahua in me, but they aren’t entirely sure. My previous owner adopted me when I was a puppy and we have been together ever since!
I came to Safe Place because my mom is very sick and has to move into a facility where I am not allowed. I am very sad about this, as she was my best friend. We did everything together and I never left her side. Because of this I am a little shy, but I am starting to come out of my shell with my foster family. I LOVE my toys and being outside. You can often catch me doing “zoomies” around the yard or after I come inside from going potty!
I do have a large mass on my chest (approximately 5cm) that the wonderful Vet at Dublin Animal Hospital has determined must be removed. Everything should be fine, but this will need to happen within the next month. This is something that Safe Place is working on getting scheduled for me very soon.
My ideal family would be one where someone is home all the time. I get along with other dogs and cats, but I am a little wary of young children. Older children should be just fine. I love to play and go on walks, so an active family would be awesome! I am just as happy to chill on the couch, however. I’m just looking for my next perfect forever home.
